Lake District

The Lake District is in the North West of ENGLAND. There are seven lakes in that area and there are many magnificent places. It’s a fantastic place for tourists to go on holiday. It’s near Manchester, about 100 miles or about one hour by train. It’s the biggest lake in that area. In Windermere you can find a lot of activities, for example camp, hire a boot, or go with other tourists on big yachts  and walk in the wood  and admire the fantastic scenery.
