The weather in my country        

             The weather in my country-Saudi Arabia- is different in different parts of the country because it is a big country and it depends if the city is in northern region close to cold countries or if the city is near the sea like the eastern region which is hot and humid. I will talk about the weather in Riyadh in the four seasons.

           The summer in Riyadh is often hot and the temperature can reach 50c or more. Especially in the afternoon it becomes boiling hot and usually everyone stays at home to avoid sun exposure so that they don’t feel dizzy or dehydrated. Other people enjoy summer sea activities like swimming or enjoy themselves near a pool.

           In autumn, the weather is still hot but it’s cooler than in the summer. There are many dust storms and it’s sometimes rains at the same time. People with asthma and lung problem might suffer at the time of the year and sometimes the school is closed for a few days.

           In winter, the weather is cold and the temperature is between eight to mid-twenties. Sometimes it rains and people in the cold weather enjoy a picnic in the dessert and travel around the country.

          In spring, the weather becomes warm and there are some dust storms and many people enjoy spring holidays travelling to places where the weather is good.
